Cricket World Cup 2015 $5 Domed Silver ICC Coin
The Royal Australian Mint has teamed with the International Cricket Council (ICC) to present this collectable coin.
The stunning $5 Silver proof dome-shaped coin with a mintage of 5000. The coin’s reverse creatively utilises the dome-shape to resemble a cricket ball. The inward curve gives an artistic representation of the beloved Melbourne Cricket Ground.
As a cricket-loving nation, Australia’s association with the CWC is a long and proud one. Australia was the overall winner in 1987, 1999, 2003 and 2007 and the runner-up in 1975 and 1996.
